Request a street sweep

Please note that our Street Cleansing team are working hard to remove leaf fall throughout the district. You do not need to report fallen leaves unless they are already causing a blockage or the leaves have been in place for more than three weeks.

Before you start

We are responsible for road sweeping and litter clearance in certain areas of public land. This does not include major trunk roads or privately owned property or land. You can report significant mess in your area such as broken glass, spillages or a large amount of rubbish that has been blown out of a fallen over bin. In some cases an additional sweep may be required. In others where the issue is not urgent we may wait until the next scheduled sweep.

You can enquire about hiring a street sweeper for private land.

Do not use this form to:

• report litter
• report dog fouling
• report a dead animal
• To report over hanging branches. If you see any issues such as fallen trees or overhanging branches on roads, highways, public footpaths or bridleways please contact Highways.
