Please use this form if you wish to challenge a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) issued by the former South Lakeland District Council prior to 1 April 2023 (your PCN number will begin SC).
Challenges to a PCN issued by Westmorland & Furness Council cannot be submitted through this form.
Before you start
Each challenge is considered on its individual circumstances. Please state your case clearly and simply. You will need to tell us:
- • the reference number of the PCN
- • the reason that you are appealing against the notice
- • if you have any supporting evidence such as a pay-and-display ticket
- you will have an opportunity to upload a copy of this supporting evidence
Please be aware that if you do not submit your challenge within 14 days of being given the penalty and your appeal is unsuccessful you will be liable for the full charge.
Please note, all challenges must be dealt with in writing, so we are therefore unable to discuss appeals over the telephone
